Par2: Detecting and saving BLOBs

You can add one line of code to the file's FileManger EqualBuffer method,
before the parent call:

    IF Pre:BlobField{PROP:Touched} = TRUE THEN RETURN(0).

This will detect the changed BLOB and cause the form to update the record.
