> Clarion doesn't detect the change just to the BLOB. True. But it does provide a prop:touched so you can test if it has changed. I usually add a 1 byte dummy field to the record the in Takecompleted before call to parent I do: If Pre:TheBlob{prop:Touched} then If Pre:ForceSave then Clear(Pre:ForceSave) else Pre:ForceSave+=1. end The value of pre:forcesave dummy field does not matter, it only matters that it changes before takecompleted is called so the record gets saved.
