"The Bug Report"
#1 Microsoft IIS 3.0 and 4.0
Microsoft says applications that use a large number of handles may
request them more quickly then IIS can release them. This will cause
INETINFO.EXE to hang. If this happens, use the KILL.EXE utility from a
command prompt to stop INETINFO.EXE
#2 Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0
NT Server 4.0 becomes stressed-out if you run CGI multiple stress
instances on an internet information server (IIS) 3.0 running on an NT
file allocation table partion server. Microsoft says I/O may come to a
halt. The problem may also happen on an NT File System partition, but
at a slower rate. If this is affecting you, contact Microsoft
Technical Support or wait for the next Service Pack.
