Par2: Source code DLL using APP
2002-10-31 -- Bjarne Havnen

See Global Properites General Tab: Check Generate template globals......external Global Objects: Check Don't generate globals. If still using 5.0: Basically, the Duplicate Symbol is a result of what is exported. Use Libmaker to view your DLLs libfile. It is possible to Delete the symbols in the libfile from Libmaker and then save it with same name. In ABC there will be a lot of classes exported so keep focused. If I recall correctly, each procedure has a Init and Kill method in 5.0, which needs to be exported. Rick Martin adds: I recommend using an assertion instead. That way information like this will never be displayed to your end-users who most likely will not understand it. Bind errors should be caught in development. If you do your development with debug turned on in your data dll (which I also recommend) an Assert will display your failed filter. Bjarne replies: Good idea. Why not take ? SetClipboard(RangeFilter) ! too, then you could easily paste the filterstring in to an editor for debugging.
