This is from my own KB, Roberto. It is probably the one you are referring
to.

FedEx, UPS to name a few.
I believe Harley Davidson uses Clarion.
You have a tremendous opportunity here. Although I wouldn't have told
him I didn't know VB, I'd have said "I know VB and that's why I refuse
to write in it." VB is excellent for writing large dinosaur
applications that talk with other MS applications. I suspect that is
not the type of thing you are being asked to write here.
One of the bigger banks here in SA uses Clarion "ABSA". This may not help
you there. but a least its Clarion is represented across the world. rgs.

Cinemark was also the first major theatre chain to sell movie tickets online
and we invented print-at-home ticketing with Clarion software.
How about Chevron? Their program for accounting, personnel, vehicle
tracking, etc. is all in Clarion for Windows.
It was just ported over from .tps to MSSQL format.
Nationwide Advertising Service also uses Clarion. Now. That
name might not mean anything to you. But... until last year they were the
largest independent recruitment ad agency in the US with 38 offices in the
US and 3 in Canada. I said until last year because they were bought out last
by McAnn-Erickson Worldwide.
You can add Sylvan Learning Centers, Direct TV and the BC Gov'n Liquor
Distribution Branch to your list.
Also, since Prometric was bought out by Thomson Learning early last year,
add

it will take time to compile.

We started the conversion to Windows using VB in 1996. When we
discovered two-year old uncorrected bugs in the ODBC driver for Access
which caused our software to GPF (and spent 2 weeks trying to find out
what WE did wrong), we dumped VB and three months of work. We have never
regretted it..
ACES (ACcounting Enhanced Software)
CARP (Cost Analysis of Resources and Projects)
PREM (Projects and Resources Management)
CFAS (Consolidated Fixed ASsets)
All these applications are made in Clarion and are marketed in Luxembourg
and Belgium.
