Anyone have ideas? Hi Arnor, I don't know if MYSQL syntax is different than MSSQ, but this works for me. Update Engineer Set Name = Replace(Name,'Martin','Martini') I don't think you need the 'Select' part in your example. HTH, Rick Martin Sharpe Software, Inc
