Par2: Broker on Advanced Server 2000
2001-12-12 -- Don Kim

There are 2 services(EXE & DLL) to run ClarioNet. 1.EXE - c55aps10.exe EXE works like MS personal web server. It even has PWS' s 10 user limit. Just follow the manual and it will work. 2.DLL - c5launch.dll If you follow the Michael's manual carefully, it will work but needs some more care than EXE. Steps to follow: - Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Internet Services Manager - Internet Information Services(under Tree Tab) - Right click on the server icon - Click on New - Click on Web Site - Click on Next - Enter any name you want (ie. ClarioNetGateway) - Click on Next - Enter TCP Port# Identical to the ClarioNet Client's Port#(ie 80, 8080,....IIS tells you if there is a problem) - Click Next - Enter Path (ie c:\cwicweb) I assume that you installed the Application Broker on the W2K AS. - Cliick Next - Click Next - Click Finish That's it! Now you are almost ready for c5LAUNCH.dll. You just installed a DEFAULT Web Site to run ClarioNet. Print out the 55AB.PDF from \cwicweb\admin directory and follow the steps 4,5 & 7 to 12. step 4: - right click on your default ClarioNet Web Site(ie. ClarioNetGateway) - Click on New - Click on Virtual Directory & follw the instruction. other steps: - follow the 55AB.PDF
